THIS NEW PUPPY Says It's Time For A Livechat.

Hi, I’m Ruby.

This is Ruby, my amazing new puppy who is now the boss of me, and by extension, the boss of all of us. If you read Wonkette, you might have already heard about her. I am pretty sure she found me, and not the other way around, and that she may have been sent to me directly by my last dog Lula, who died in April of 2023, and who was an absolute badass.

So! That’s the new puppy, and the reason it is currently taking me an hour to write this extremely simple post. I can’t not stop to play with her every time she’s being cute, can I?

As for the state of things since the election, the appalling/absurd/horrifying/giggle-inducing/terrifying news is coming a mile a minute already, and all we’re doing is learning about Donald Trump’s ridiculous Cabinet appointees. Attorney General Matt Gaetz? DNI Tulsi Gabbard? SecDef Fox News creeper Pete Hegseth?

Christ. Whether John Thune’s Senate will do Trump’s bidding is unclear, but Trump sure is leaning in to his worst and stupidest instincts, isn’t he?

That new puppy is getting me through the week. How are y’all? Let’s have our weekly livechat about it, yeah?
