I believe in life after death and some kind of heaven. I also believe that there are some people, like those in the article, who would take one look through the "pearly gates," see who is in there, and choose the "outer darkness."
What’s especially rich is that all of these people yelling DEI are completely unemployable outside the wingnut welfare bubble. Charlie Kirk and Chaya Raichik couldn’t get hired to flip burgers. Megyn Kelly’s career tanked in record time after she left Fox. As is always the case, they’re telling on themselves.
Weird how all of these "Christians" are so full of hate for anyone not them, and their first response to a tragedy or a crisis is to blame "the other," rather than to help those in need, as Jesus commanded.

My in-laws are currently evacuated from the Palisades fire, my aunt lost power for two days from the Eaton fire, which my cousin's house is across the freeway from the evacuation zone and my kid sent me a picture of the Sunset fire she took from the roof of her apartment. I'm in OC, hoping Anaheim Hills doesn't decide to join the party. It's the fucking climate change and blaming it on anything else is being willfully stupid or bought.
My sister lost her house. They had installed a fire suppression system (like sprinklers for a house) but with such an intense blaze coupled with high winds and low water pressure, there was no way to avoid it.
It's so much more complex than funding shortfalls and whatever other BS excuses & victim blaming that is happening. Why can't they focus on helping people rather than shaming them? Enraging.
The Pasadena Jaycees are a local nonprofit that already serves Pasadena and Altadena. They’re going to know which people don’t have outside help, who don’t have the dollars to get by on until proper aid kicks in. They do a lot of good work in the area.
You can find them, for real, on the stupid fb site that we deleted except for my LA friends. They stuck with it for some reason. For real though, the things they do are awesome and you should go check them out.
