American motto: E Plurbus Unum

Out of many, one.

That IS diversity!

We hold these truths to be self evident, that ALL men are created EQUAL.

That IS Equity and Inclusion.

They are trying to erase the basic principles of America.

Excellent newsletter. I have never understood why white guys think they are in charge. The patriarchy really needs to just go away. They don't do anything worth shit.

This is why, as an white old fat fuck, I have a t-shirt that reads:

Systemically Entitled white Male for Harris/Walz.

It goes with my Fuck Ted Cruz t-shirt.

In many instances it's because they are in charge. The error is in thinking because of their race, they >deserve< to be. Which ironically is itself a symptom of discrimination.

That don't do anything worth shit envelope may also include Tim Walz, Pete Buttigieg and Joe Biden, probably unintentionally.

Obviously I was talking about the patriarchy, not every single white guy. Or maybe I wasn't so obvious.

Nailed it, Evan! These people are pathetic, but they never would have been put in charge if the fucking MSM didn't go all in on the Abomination (trump). I am still boycotting them, so don't know if they are falling for the Abomination's DEI excuse.

Unfortunately, the MSM is now riddled with Idiot Nephews, so they can only see versions of their mediocre selves in this regime - and no doubt feel the same terror of being found out for the weakly-educated failures with no intellectual or moral core that they really are.

The cool lawyer ladies from Strict Scrutiny quipped that under Trump’s hiring preferences, DEI now means:

Drunks

Ex-husbands and

Imbeciles

It just occurred to me - not only is the Abomination intensely stupid, he's intensely insecure, hence his blaming anyone but himself when things go wrong, no matter how idiotic his charge is, and his taking the credit for all of the good things, even when clearly he had nothing to do with it. If it weren't for the MSM swallowing his lies hook, line, and sinker, he wouldn't have been elected in the first place. The very people who should be skeptical of him, believe everything he says.

Now he’s also flat out refusing (not just avoiding) to answer questions that ask for specifics during press conferences, he’s attacking the journalists who do ask him basic questions, insulting them and accusing them of not being good at their job. He gets defensive when there’s not enough praise during a press conference, and lashes out when he doesn’t know the answers. He’s the king now, any perceived slight is a threat to his authority.

Evan, I'm stuck on one phrase: "Diversity is not our strength"

I'm older than dirt. When I was in school and learning about my country before we started using bumper sticker phrases to fight communism, we were taught E Pluribus Unum, We were taught that meant out of many, one; that there had been 13 colonies, but one country and that we were many people from many backgrounds, with ancestry from across the globe, and that made us strong. Out of many, one. It was, looking back, more preached than practiced, but the ideal WAS there.

Now, children will be taught "Diversity is not our strength?"

It is abundantly clear that Frump's insane remarks are an obvious, complete reveal of a TOTAL NAZI! Only a NAZI would use DEI as a cover or explanation for a real-time, hideous tragedy. Not one word was expressed by him for or about the excruciating suffering of the families, during the initial period of horrid shock for them, the entire Country, the accident victims themselves (a "MOMENT of silence?!!!) Hard to imagine a bigger TELL. Harder to believe anyone can not see, or deny, that!!!

If you're going to allude to articles from the NYT on why Pete Hegseth is more dangerous than we know, and what Jamel Bouie is writing in the Wall Street Journal, please make them accessible. I couldn't read the former because I cancelled my NYT subscription over their picking at Pres. Biden and their sane-washing of Dumpy, and the latter because I wouldn't subscribe to a Murdoch publication if you paid me, but Jamel Bouie is always worth reading. I'm probably not unlike many of your readers who can't stomach the NYT or the Journal anymore, but are interested in following your links that expand your points.
