Thanks, Evan, for a great year of writing. And about those Trump signs. I live in Southern Illinois and before the election, I rarely saw a Trump sign but since the election they’ve been popping up in people’s yards. Interesting phenomenon that they are showing support only after he won.
I'm in east-central California, and it was the same here. Hardly any maga signs before the election, but on that fateful Tuesday, they cropped up everywhere, as if on cue. And yes, they're increasing even now. The one that cracks me up to no end is "tfg=low prices Kamala=high prices." Won't they be surprised!
Aww... Ruby! Keep pictures of her coming - her sweet face is a balm in these troubled times.
The problem with voting for "change," without specifying what it is you want to change, and what you want the change to be, is that you get change, but not what you wanted. "Change" is too generic - change can be good, it can be bad, it can even be neutral. Unfortunately some of those 6 million Biden voters voted for trump, because they, like the media and magas, forgot how horrific trump's first term was, even before Covid hit. But they wanted change and for the price of eggs to go down. They will get the first, but not in a good way, but won't get the latter.

Ta, Evan. Ruby is a worthy successor to Lula. Happy new year to you and yours.
