I am a person who people tend to recognize as successful. Yet, I wonder what and who I could have been if my father has not battered me? How much more confident? How much more resilient? This is the first time I have gone public with my history. (I am in my 60’s.) It feels awful to do so. But I can’t, I can’t let this go unsaid.
